Fluid heating device

Abstract

A fluid heating device comprises a magnetic core 101, a primary coil 102 wound around the magnetic core, and a secondary coil 104 wound around the magnetic core. The secondary coil has a fluid channel passing through it so that when a varying electrical voltage is applied to the primary coil, a large current is induced in the secondary coil causing heating of the coil, and therefore heating of the fluid passing therethrough. A temperature sensor 108 detects the fluid temperature and can control a power control device 103 for adjusting input power from the primary winding 102. <IMAGE>
